Kitpu First Nation update
We have contacted the new Minister for Indigenous and Northern Affairs concerning,
status recognition, funding to progress as an independant First Natiion Band ,reserve and hunting and fishing land.
The most important sense to a First Nation person is the sense of freedom, for without freedom we are a kept people.Without land we have no freedom. Two years ago we put in a land claim that covers a portion of the Port au
Port Peninsula. We have signed no Landless Band
